CLO Operations Analyst

Our client is an excellent boutique credit house, looking to hire an operations associate for their growing CLO administration team. The team is responsible for servicing their growing platform and the successful applicant will work closely with other members of the team, portfolio managers and the front office team to ensure tasks are met.

Responsibilities include:
– Working with CLO trustee to ensure delivery of accurate monthly and quarterly reports
– Calculations, reconciliations and monitoring of coverage tests, collateral tests and other testing requirements
– Monitoring of corporate actions, asset restructurings and pre and post trade compliance exceptions management
– Becoming the go-to person for the deals you manage
– Ensure accurate cash and portfolio holdings, as well as compliance test results, at all times, with any exceptions investigated and resolved immediately
– New issue drawdown requests and interest carry calculations
– Reviewing deal documentation to gain understanding of fund structures, compliance requirements, timings and terms of the deals
– CLO lifecycle management
– Liaising with deal administrators and servicing agents to ensure smooth operations of transactions
– Working with a variety of teams, including Finance, Risk and Compliance across interdepartmental teams, ie Finance, Risk, Compliance to meet deliverables required for the CLOs

The successful candidate will be:
– Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
– Flexible team player who can work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet challenging deadlines.
– Able to be a “Big Picture” thinker
– Strong Excel skills
– 3 – 6+ years’ experience with previous experience of CLOs or Structured Products.
