What our candidates have to say

“During a lengthy search in 2018 and through meeting with a broad section of traditional agencies and specialists it proved to be a genuine pleasure to work with Rachael at Leverton Search. The whole experience was stand out with her offering real insights, support and a knack for listening to what was said rather than what was wanting to be heard. As a rather jaded candidate it was refreshing and this remained true throughout the time spent working with one another.”

Your application

At Leverton, we like to see a candidate’s CV initially, to ensure we are having the right conversation with you. It allows us to consider all of our roles and take a lateral approach when speaking with you. If we are the right fit for you as an agency, we will then look forward to meeting you in person, at our offices. Here we will discuss your career and future aims. This allows us to get to know you and think about how you might fit with our different client cultures

We are often asked for advice on how to write your CV. Our advice is to keep it simple. You do not need a large personal statement. Let your experience and background speak for itself. We would advise you use a clear font, no colours and no photos and formatted in the third person. On the other side, do not feel it has to be 2 pages, but also, it should not be over 3. Leverton and Clients like to see interests as it helps as an ice breaker, so be truthful and use your flair on this.
