Senior Investment Strategist (Multi-Asset)

A long-term institutional asset owner is looking for a Senior Investment Strategist to join its investment strategy function. The role sits at the centre of the investment process, helping to shape cross-asset market views and portfolio strategy across a diversified portfolio spanning traditional and alternative assets.

Working closely with senior investment leadership, the successful individual will contribute macro insight, thematic research, and strategic thinking to support long-term portfolio construction and investment decision-making.

This role is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy developing investment views and thinking about markets through a long-term, portfolio construction lens within a sophisticated institutional investment environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cross-asset market views and macro insights to inform portfolio strategy
• Conduct thematic research into structural trends and emerging market developments
• Contribute to portfolio construction discussions across public and private markets
• Provide analytical insight to support long-term strategic investment decisions
• Translate macro and market developments into actionable portfolio perspectives

Candidate profile:

• 10–15+ years’ experience in markets, macro strategy, or portfolio strategy
• Experience gained either within multi-asset strategy or CIO office functions on the buy-side, or in cross-asset strategy / asset allocation research on the sell-side
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomics and cross-asset markets
• A thoughtful and intellectually curious approach to analysing markets and investment strategy
• Senior enough to contribute meaningfully to strategic investment discussions
